Megan Kosasih

Hi everyone! My name is Megan, and I am so excited to nominate myself for the position of Vice President in the UCL Indonesian Society.

As a first year, IndoSoc was one of the first places where I felt instantly welcomed and included. It quickly became my home away from home. This sense of comfort is something I want every member, especially new students, to experience.

Through my past leadership experiences, including leading my schools’ Student Council, I’ve learned how to turn ideas into action. Leading teams and coordinating initiatives taught me how to stay organized, communicate clearly and to be reliable. I follow through responsibilities, even when having a lot on my plate, which I believe is an essential skill when juggling between school and society responsibilities. I believe a good Vice President isn’t just someone with ideas, but someone who supports the team, makes sure things run smoothly behind the scenes, and is always willing to step up whenever needed.

If elected, I hope to build on the warmth that IndoSoc already has by creating more community-driven events like game nights and potluck picnics. I hope these events can bring different year groups together whether undergrad or postgrad, so Indosoc feels more like one big (slightly chaotic, but loving) family. Additionally, I hope to strengthen IndoSoc’s presence within UCL by better representing Indonesian culture on campus through cultural showcases or collaborations with other societies.

Adelio Hafindika

I am standing as Vice President of UCL Indonesian Society because I believe our community can grow beyond being a social space into a platform for empowerment, collaboration, and impact.

As Indonesian students at University College London, many of us navigate academic pressure and cultural transition. I want our society to be a place where members not only feel at home, but also feel supported academically and professionally. Community should not stop at gathering; it should help us grow.

Strong organisations require clarity, structure, and accountability. As Vice President, I would improve coordination between committees, strengthen event execution, and ensure continuity between leadership terms. A sustainable society is built on systems, not just enthusiasm. Most importantly, I stand because I care about representation. This role is not just extracurricular for me, it is a responsibility to serve, listen, and build something lasting.

Intinya, sy gabut makasih :DDD

Audrey Leo

Hi everyone! I'm Audrey, an Art & Technology major, and I'm so excited to be running for Vice President this term.

As the only first year on last term's committee, being Marketing Director gave me a real look into the heart of IndoSoc; from our annual boat party to shaping the creative identity we have today. It made me realise just how much potential this society has.

Here are a couple of initiatives I'd love to bring to life. Keluarga IndoSoc, a big and little family system connecting undergraduates across years and postgrads into close-knit groups. Moving to a big city is intimidating, and I say that from experience. Having people around me, whether same-year peers or seniors, who made London feel less daunting changed everything for me. Whether that's a spontaneous Chinatown run or just someone to text when the homesickness hits, I want those connections to exist, because they made all the difference. I also want to take our events further; think welcome picnics at Regent's Park or a Santai Study Date taking over a café. London is magnificent, it'd be a shame not to use it.

Beyond IndoSoc, I immerse myself in design (audreyleo.com) and have worked on fun installations, recently at London Fashion Week. You'll also find me chasing pastries across London (#BeliWarrior) or feeding a slightly concerning white chocolate matcha addiction at very odd hours.

I'd love to keep nurturing this community and make IndoSoc the home away from home it truly became for me.
