What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?
YOUR SU. YOUR RULES. 🚀
Cut the Red Tape
- Slash wait times for funding/event approvals — speed over paperwork
Decolonise SU Decisions
- Audit investments/partners to reflect UCL’s GLOBAL community — no more token diversity
Fix Broken Systems
- Overhaul clunky online tools (bookings, memberships) — societies deserve tech that WORKS
Fund Justice
- Prioritise cash for cultural/liberation/grassroots groups — no more big-society bias
Transparency
- Public SU budget dashboards — track every penny spent
Fair Prices
- Cap SU café/bar prices + secure gym/food discounts. Profits fund YOU, not bureaucracy
What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?
- 2 years as People of Colour Officer amplifying marginalised voices through policy, events, + EDI initiatives with SU teams/Union Executive
- Committee roles running societies — I know where systems fail students + how to fix them
- Problem-solving skills— not afraid to challenge decisions that don’t serve students
- Strong negotiation + research skills from being BAME Awarding Gap Rep + Student Research Advisor
- Committed to challenging where power + money flow, not just “representing” students
- Working w/ neurodiverse individuals, I’m committed to making accessibility + inclusion central to SU decisions
Please summarise why students should vote for you.
Vote for me if you want a Trustee who won’t just sit in meetings but will challenge unfair decisions + fight for real change. I’ll push for structural decolonisation, transparent spending + accountable leadership — reviewing where SU invests money, who they partner with, and if this reflects UCL’s global and diverse student body.
I’LL KEEP SU UCL REAL 💥
