Amelia Binti Mohd Yadi

As the former Marketing Manager of UCLWES, I've had the privilege to witness firsthand the incredible impact our society has on women in engineering. Through my experience, I've come to understand the vital role this organization plays in supporting, empowering, and connecting women in the field. I am standing for President because I am deeply committed to advancing the mission of UCLWES. Building upon my previous role, I aspire to contribute even more significantly to the growth and development of our members.

My manifesto is rooted in the belief that by offering meaningful opportunities for career development and fostering collaborations, we can further enrich the experiences of our members. Holding career events featuring speakers and recruiters from top companies will provide invaluable insights and networking opportunities for our members. Additionally, forging stronger partnerships with other societies across UCL and beyond will allow us to offer a broader range of events and resources, ultimately enhancing the overall experience for our members.

I am passionate about creating a supportive and inclusive community where every member feels empowered to pursue their goals in engineering. By focusing on initiatives that promote professional growth, networking, and collaboration, I am confident that we can continue to make a positive impact on the lives of women in engineering at UCL.
