Women's Engineering Society: Events Manager

Hi everyone,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Mrudula Paluri, and I am currently studying chemical engineering. As someone deeply passionate about engineering and committed to advancing gender diversity within the field, I am excited to contribute meaningfully to the UCLWES.

As a woman in STEM, I understand the importance of creating inclusive spaces where women can network, learn, and thrive professionally. My past experiences of running charity events at my sixth form have equipped me with organisational skills, attention to detail, and strategic planning skills, all of which I believe are crucial for creating successful and impactful events within UCLWES.

Effective communication and collaboration are also essential in organizing successful events. With my strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams, I am confident in my capacity to foster positive relationships with fellow committee members and sponsors. I aim to maintain clear communication which will ensure events are well- coordinated and achieve their impact. 

I look forward to potentially contributing to the sucess of UCL WES events next year !
