Paulina Golub

Pryvit! My name is Paulina and I am thrilled to share with you my decision to run for the position of Vice President in the elections for the Ukrainian Society!

Having previously served as the Communications Manager, I have witnessed firsthand the potential and positive impact the society can have on our university community. In this role, I envision fostering an environment where everyone feels actively engaged in the decisions that shape our community. Prior to my university experience, I served as the Head Girl during my final years of school. This role equipped me with. valuable leadership skills, fostering a sense of responsibility and dedication to creating a positive impact on the community.

As I express my intention to serve as your Vice President, I'm excited to share a vision that extends beyond our immediate borders. One of my key objectives for the upcoming year is to foster meaningful connections with different societies, amplifying our collective impact and enriching our cultural experience. I am eager to bring my experience, leadership skills, and ambitious plans to elevate the Ukrainian Society to new heights.

My passion for our cultural heritage, coupled with the practical experiences I have garnered, uniquely position me to contribute to the Ukrainian Society as Vice President. I am excited about the prospect of leading the society to new achievements and creating an environment that fosters personal and collective growth!

Slava Ukraïni!

Yaroslava Myroshnychenko

Hi, everyone! My name is Yaroslava, and I am studying Politics, Sociology and East European Studies at SSEES. I am running for the position of Vice-President because I believe that my knowledge and diverse experience can contribute to the continued growth and development of our society.

I have experience working in the educational, social and marketing sectors, and I recently co-founded a London-based social media management agency. I have gained many practical insights through internships at consulting companies, NGOs and diplomatic institutions in both Ukraine and around the world and improved my understanding of business and entrepreneurship through summer programs at universities in the USA.

I am studying Politics because I am committed to returning to Ukraine and contributing to its rebuilding and reconstruction. Joining the Ukrainian Society would help me to already impact Ukraine’s development. If elected, I look forward to collaborating with the committee to organise conferences, and public talks featuring Ukraine's top business owners, activists, and government officials, as well as workshops, networking sessions, and internship opportunities.

Thank you for considering me! I am determined to contribute to making the Ukrainian Society a vibrant and impactful community at UCL.
