Greetings esteemed members of the Turkish Society,

I'm Emrullah, and I'm excited to run for President of UCL Turkish Society. As a second-year Economics and Business with East European Studies undergraduate, I have a passion for promoting the Turkish culture. In high school, I led the dance, mathematics and Model United Nations clubs, emphasizing teamwork and inclusivity. If elected, I'll enrich our society's experience and foster our community through diverse events, collaborations, creative celebrations, professional development opportunities, and inclusivity.

I'll organize diverse events celebrating the Turkish culture, including dinners, performances, screenings, and exhibitions, fostering community connection. I'll collaborate with other cultural societies for cross-cultural dialogue and friendship. We'll celebrate important dates creatively, offering workshops, seminars, and themed parties. Professional development opportunities like workshops and networking events will also be planned within the academic year. I'll ensure inclusivity, welcoming all members and prioritizing diversity in our activities.

Prioritizing these promises and listening to the needs and feedback of our members, I am confident that we can build a vibrant and inclusive Turkish Society that thrives for years to come. Together, let's make the 2024-2025 academic year one to remember!
