Zeynep Naz Behram

Hello everyone! My name is Zeynep, I am a third-year Applied Medical Sciences student and I will pursue a Master's degree at UCL for the next year. I nominate myself to be the 'Events Coordinator' at the Turkish Society. You might know me from this year's committee as the Marketing officer, I have been actively taking part in different roles since the beginning of 2023. For the next academic year, I aim to continue organising different types of events (career talks, sportive, art sessions, traditional) and to create a collaborative, inclusive environment for our lovely Turkish Society members! Through my university journey, organising events became my passion. I love building new connections and networks between people, especially students with professionals in an efficient way for both sides. I am very grateful for all the experiences that I gained and all the impressive students that I met until today thanks to society. Thank you very much for your vote and please contact me if you have any questions about my nomination :)

Ayca Bagdas

Hello everyone! My name is Ayca, a first year medical student, and I am running for the Event Officer role as I aspire to provide you more opportunities to socialise with your Turkish peers, build lasting friendships and expand your network. I want to organise more career’s events to help you with your career’s planning and I also have amazing ideas for social events, such as pub socials, meyhane nights, picnics, Turkish breakfast events, Turkish food tours and loads of other things. I also want to provide more opportunities to help people practice their Turkish by organising conversation sessions and Turkish lessons delivered by your peers.

As an event officer, I will listen to your suggestions closely and deliver you events that you desire. I hope to keep in close touch with the members and constantly build on the feedback I receive to make the society more inclusive and enjoyable for everyone. You can trust me to make the society more fun and fill our events with delicious Turkish food!
