Danilo Paganelli

Hey everyone! I am Danilo and I would be honoured to be Welfare Officer of the TFL Society! Born and raised in London, I very much understand the many joys (and many woes LOL) of TFL (the nightbus is by far my favourite) and I LOVE watching videos about the history of TFL (mainly those from Jago Hazzard). I have led many societies and networks and have been welfare officer in other societies and thus have the experience.

I would strike to organise next year:

1.) Regular Welfare Checks in the groupchat in order to see how members are doing and to check in on those not doing too well so I can provide support. 

2.) Provide useful links and resources to help members, including promoting the Participation fund in order to help members afford the travel for activities

3.) Apply for the UCL Welfare Fund for the TFL Society in order to purchase pronoun badges and disability lanyards in order to help our members.

4.) Run Welfare Socials (such as "Biscuit and Chat" drop ins) and other fun events, such as Kahoot nights, movie nights (including of course "Polar Express" in Christmas), donut socials, game nights, pub socials and more!

5.) Organise collabs with other societies, universities and networks. I have a lot of connections and I am looking forward to the new friendships that will be made!

6.) Organise an event at the escape room in the abandoned South Kentish Town tube station

P.S. I have a London Tubes Monopoly if anyone wants to play it...
