Yuan Ke Tay

Hi everyone, I am Yuan Ke - and I am running for Director (People and Operations) of the TEDxUCL Society!

I really enjoyed my time in the TEDx Society as First-Year Representative. Through my time working behind the scenes, I realised that it is the people that make the work we do at TEDxUCL so valuable. That is why I am standing for the TEDx committee. If elected, I hope to bring more people into our society, and more importantly, support the people of our society.

I hope to do this in two main ways. 

Firstly, I hope to boost campus presence through 1. on-campus stalls to interact with UCL students, 2. engaging the UCL Academic community such that we can tap into a broader network for recruitment and events, and 3. creating a distinct TEDxUCL brand - all of which will contribute to our society's recruitment and operations. 

Secondly, in terms of enhancing the TEDx UCL membership experience, I hope to 1. conduct regular feedback sessions for all members, 2. provide enhanced event support, and 3. foster greater cohesion and communication across the whole society and all its departments.

On a whole, I believe that the TEDx Society has a lot to offer to the UCL community, and I would love to be a part of that.
