Hello! I'm Daniel, a first-year Mathematical Computation student, eager to serve as your Mentorship Executive in the Technology Society.

Navigating internships, extracurriculars, and career paths in tech can be daunting. Many students, initially unaware of their importance, often realize their value too late. My goal is to bridge this gap, drawing from my own experiences and the invaluable guidance received from my mentors. Despite my journey of continuous learning, I've been fortunate to secure a summer internship in my first year, a testament to the powerful impact of effective mentorship. Without the help of my mentors, I would have never been aware of the importance of career opportunities within tech, and thereby I am passionate about being a mentor who opens doors to opportunities that many students may have never known existed.

In addition, I plan on using my experiences and the leadership skills I learned as a first-year course representative for Mathematical Computation to enrich our mentorship program. I aim to foster an environment where both mentors and mentees can thrive, emphasizing the importance of feedback and continuous improvement to ensure the program's success and relevance.

By joining hands, we can create a mentorship experience that not only guides but inspires, preparing our members for a rewarding journey in the tech industry.
