My long-standing interest in Obstetrics and Gynaecology has led me to apply for this position. This began as early as 6th form, with my EPQ completed in ethical dilemmas in reproductive medicine. This passion was only reaffirmed upon the completion of my iBSc in Women’s Health,

I previously held the role of O&G Chair in 2022-23 and greatly enjoyed the opportunity it gave me to share my passion with all of us here at UCL, and I would relish the opportunity to hold this position again. At UCL, the teaching on O&G, especially in pre-clinical years, is often limited and surface level, hence outlets such as the O&G Branch of UCL Surgical Society are vital to engage both those with an existing passion for O&G and those who have previously had no access to it.

My Manifesto:

- Hold a series of diverse and engaging talks throughout the year, hosted by a wide variety of the MDT that makes O&G so unique : This proved very successful in 2022-23, and I would love to ensure this is improved for 2024-25.

-  Create a research database for O&G-focused projects that students can sign up to, allowing access to early career research.

- Hold a series of talks aimed at 5th-year and 2nd-year content relating to O&G, alongside a session all about the Women's Health iBSc for 3rd years.

- Hold a monthly social meet-up for all interested in O&G, that involves debates, charity quizzes, and meals out

- Opportunity to develop surgical skills relevant to O&G, including laparoscopic
