Student Action for Refugees Society: Treasurer

The work of STAR is not only impactful but captures a lot of what it means to be empathetic, kind, and selfless. It takes unique and creative approaches towards supporting refugees in London and engaged many students with this too! Being the volunteer coordinator this year, I was able to learn the dynamic of how STAR works and understand how we can improve and better our work to make sure it is the most effective it can be. I am excited to take on the role as treasurer so I can better help STAR and the rest of its members on this journey!
