With the world becoming more digital, the capability of technology is becoming extremely promising, especially in healthcare. This is what interested me in this role, particularly after attending this year's conference.

I believe my experience working in an optometry clinic, where I interacted with healthcare professionals, will help in contacting professionals for the conference. Additionally, working as an assistant at a charity shop, where I had to collaborate with colleagues for numerous reasons (e.g., deciding the price of donations), would contribute to ticket pricing and other key aspects of organising a conference. Recently, alongside my team, we mocked up a startup that used synthetic biology and technology to help tackle global health issues in healthcare. It was challenging yet rewarding, and I believe it helped improve my problem-solving skills which would be useful in addressing issues related to the conference. Besides professional experience, even in my everyday life, I am quite organised. You'll never catch me without a Notion calendar or a to-do list!

From the mentorship program to the recent healthcare conference, I have attended multiple MedTech events this year. Each event provided me with valuable insights and helped bring me one step closer to figuring out what I want to do. I would love to give back and be on the committee for the society that has personally helped me so much. I am committed to using my experiences and skills to help keep MedTech great!
