The main reason I am standing is because I love Malaysia Society and I want to contribute to it. Besides, I find myself very suitable for this treasurer position because I have a lot of past experience being a treasurer for my previous clubs back in my high school or pre-university days. I am very good at using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets to create all kinds of financial reports to give a clear understanding of the club's financial status. Furthermore, if I am the treasurer, I would liaise with the corporate relation to secure more sponsorships so that the funds of Malaysia Society is sufficient enough to hold more meaningful events for the members while taking care of the member's welfare by subsidising the members if any fees is incurred towards the members for participating in the events. Another unique reason is that I love handling stuffs relating to finance, and that makes me a very careful person when it comes to things involving money. I would keep a well detailed and organised record of society's financial transactions by creating a personal digital bank account and monitor it consistently before making transactions into the MSoc official bank account. If the members have bought anything that will be a cost for an event, they will have to prepare the receipts for each items. The receipts and items should be listed in a Google Form that's created by me for reimbursement within 14 days.
