Malayali Society: Treasurer

I am standing for the position of treasurer as I have a strong interest in finance & budgeting and a flair with numbers which would suit the position dearly.

I have been a part of the Malayali society in my first year of joining UCL and I have enjoyed the company of fellow Malayalees and the events. As a current first year rep, I have had the privilege of understanding the behind-the-scenes working of the community and enjoyed the process that goes into setting up events.

Being a proud Mallu, I feel the role of the treasurer will give me an opportunity to give back to the group which has given me a sense of belonging and a ‘home away from home’.
