Malayali Society: President

Being part of UCL Malayali Society has meant a lot to me this year, with the society making me feel welcome and included, while also enriching the cultural ties I have with Kerala. For that reason I want to pass on the great experience I had, and more, to next year's society members by becoming President and continuing and furthering the activities of this society. 

Malayali culture is one that has massively influenced my makeup and shaped me to be who I am, therefore by becoming President of this society, I aim to promote and pass on all of the distinct and incredible features of my origin to the entire university. My hope is for us to scale up into something even greater by introducing more grand cultural events, regular and expanded sports teams, and to grow the tight knit community we have, all while keeping that true Malayali identity. My vision is to see this society flourish in a way never before, taking it to new heights, and therefore I hope trust is invested in me to make these things happen.
