Jiyu Kim

I nominate myself for the Marketing Officer position of the Korean Culture Society primarily because I enjoyed being a part of the society for the previous year, not only as a Korean tutor but also as a member participating in various activities hosted by the committee.

By being elected as a Marketing Officer within the Korean Culture Society, I aspire to devise diverse activity ideas for the members to engage in and for new individuals to join our society as well.

Furthermore, I have at least 7 years of hands-on experience utilising designing tools such as Canva and Figma both in high school and during my UX/UI internship opportunities. Hence, as a Marketing Officer, I am confident in producing captivating designs of posters and social media advertisement content for our future activities and events.

Lastly, I am dedicated to continue sharing Korea's colourful and fascinating culture in the coming years. In order to do so, I strive to promote our society to more individuals passionate about learning such customs of Korea in the international community we belong to today and provide them with an amusing and enriching experience while doing so.
