Joann(Zhen) Zhang

I'm applying for the Event Director role in the Japan Society because of my deep passion for Japanese culture and my eagerness to contribute to the vibrant activities at UCL. My experience as a member of the Student Union during high school has equipped me with valuable skills in organizing a variety of events, including the Christmas Ball and Committee Elections. I'm thrilled about the opportunity to step into a leadership position within the Japan Society, where I can leverage my organizational abilities to plan and execute engaging and memorable events. I'm confident in my capacity to create inclusive experiences that cater to both Japanese and non-Japanese members, fostering a sense of community and belonging for all.
