Zoe Fearn

Hi, I'm Zoe and I'm running to be the next Senior Women's Captain for UCLBC

Little bit about me: 

• I started sculling at school in 2020
• I rowed at RUMSBC last year 
• I am a proud bisweptual for UCLBC!

Experience:

• UCLBC Inclusivity and Outreach Officer 2023/24
• 4 years rowing experience- including sculling
• Rowed at HWR 2022, 2023; Henley Royal 2022; WeHORR 2023, (2024); 
• Leadership: previous sports captain roles at school including head of house as well as coxing experience 
• Qualities: friendly, welcoming, organised, determined, passionate 

Aims: 

• help everyone in the squad to achieve their personal training goals for the year alongside goals as a whole squad 
• integrate previous novices into the senior squad more effectively 
• improve trust and teamwork within the squad to create more of a feeling of camaraderie 
• increase transparency and communication between captain/ coach and squad (during training and more long-term)
