Sid Charaschanya

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.

Hi all, my name is Sid.

As a religious and interfaith officer, I hope to foster collaboration between universities by holding events that bring us closer to our Guru. Primarily, this entails continuing to hold Kirtan Darbars, Gurdwara visits, and similar religiously-oriented events.

Having attended the Y.1 Sikh Studies course run by the Sikh Education Council (SEC), I have gotten to know more about their members (e.g., Harwinder Singh) and initiatives. I aim to meet with the SEC and discuss how they might be able to help the UCL Sikh Society.

Given my experience as Lead Department Representative, I believe I can bring the motivation and communication skills necessary to excel as a religious and interfaith officer.

I look forward to contributing to another great year for the UCL Sikh Society!
