Sign Language Society: Vice President

Hi everyone, I am Tayanaa and I am a first-year Psychology and Language Sciences student. My interest in sign language stems from my aspiration to work as a speech and language pathologist. I strongly believe that sign language is extremely essential globally, in order to ensure the inclusivity of the deaf community. By standing as Vice President, not only do I hope to ensure that this society is of reach to all UCL students and more, but I also hope to assist my team in hosting exciting and informative events to bring awareness to the importance of sign language. I hope you will consider me for this position and give me the opportunity to work in a team dedicated to implementing ideas that would benefit this society as well as the general UCL community.
