Raffaella Woolmer

From my time at SoP, the one thing I want from the SoP Society is to see the role and scope of the society be empowered and broadened.
As your Vice President, SoP society will no longer take a backseat and will be a key part of your time at SoP bringing social events, academic support, and a channel to have your voice heard.

  • INCLUSIVE EVENTS: Ensure events are open to all, considering cultural, religious, and disability related needs. We are run by students for students, so YOUR voice is at the core of everything we do for you!

  • PORTFOLIO HELP: Talks and events with expert external speakers that can be used in your professional portfolio as CPD

  • EXPAND THE SOCIETY'S NETWORK: I will push for UCL SoP Society to work in partnership with pharmacy societies from other universities in events, and learn from each other to ensure we always give the best quality experience for YOU

  • ACADEMIC SUPPORT: Push to create a student-run mock-OSCE scheme so that students can support younger students in preparing for exams

My role on the BPSA executive has given me experience in arranging regional conferences with a range of expert speakers. This has taught me what does and doesn't work when organising events. I will use what I have learnt from this role to provide the best quality events YOU want while ensuring that our promises are reasonable and enactable. I will work closely with all members of the committee to support our president in giving YOU what YOU
