Hiking Club: Vice President

I have been part of the Hiking Club since my first year and it has enabled me to meet so many great people and explore hiking routes around London and the UK. The different residential trips organised by the club have been one of the highlights of my time at UCL. As Safety and Equipment Officer last year, I had the opportunity to learn about hiking routes around London, and feel that I am ready to take on a bigger commitment in the club.

If elected as Vice President, I hope to organise great residential trips to different destinations around the UK, and abroad during the summer, with my goal being to take club members to destinations that haven't been done in recent years!! I will also support the president in running the club where needed and assist other committee members in running events and socials.

I believe my experience as Safety and Equipment Officer this academic year as well as other leadership roles in other committees and through volunteering will enable me to organise successful residential trips and assist the president in running the club. I have extensive experience planning and organising trips and events, and am truly enthusiastic and passionate about the Hiking club!!!
