Football Club (RUMS Women's): 2s Team Captain

I would independently or in collaboration with 1s captain/other individuals organise and lead fun and engaging drills and activities during training to help develop 2s player's technique, fitness and confidence, which will not only be useful for matches but also provide a high level of friendly fun/enjoyment for everyone. I will motivate and encourage people to participate in matches and training to help give players more experience and time playing as a team, which will improve our performance in games. I would like to improve the organisation behind matches such as sorting players, positions etc and guiding people with logistics and transport to make things as non stressful as possible, as well as supporting the team through each match. I care about the welfare of members and would be happy to be approached for advice and help when needed. As I joined as a beginner who didn't know anyone previously , I understand the importance of providing an inclusive and welcoming setting in the 2s for freshers and new members, which I would continue to help maintain. I would be happy to help organise/lead freshers taster sessions etc. I am committed to attending in all areas and would also work with other committee members and players to promote socials and other fun activities for players to make friends. This would also keep the positive friendly environment which RUMS wfc holds highly thriving.
