European Society: Chairman

Hey all! Having been president of the European Society for the past 2 years, I am very sad to be leaving my role but I am hoping to remain part of the committee. As Chair, I will ensure that the transition between the new and outgoing committees goes smoothly and that the running of the society is going well so that we can have an even better year! I will continue to host fun social events such as the annual European Society and friends picnic (which I started in 2021), Speed friendings and collabs with a range of other UCL societies (especially cultural ones) so that our members can make new friends, as that is the most important ? I'd also like to set up a penpal system and run monthly online so that our events to cater to all ? Additionally, I want to arrange at least 2 fundraisers a term. I also want to improve the "Cultural Classes" which I set up last year. 

Additionally, I promise to always be there for every member and help as much as I possibly can, whether it's just a talk or signposting or emailing teachers for support/extension support or anything that I can do to help – I will be there for you all. Life is hard and that is why support is so important, and I will help ensure that I can help your experience at UCL.
