My passion for problem solving has always been floating around since a very young age. To fuel this passion I have always seeked to solve more complex problems around me, may it be the tougher calculus problems or planning large-scaled events. Hence, I have decided to run for the post of ‘Head of Marketing’ for UCL’s Engineering Society.

I believe I am the perfect candidate for this role since I am an extremely sociable person and am good at spreading word when a new event comes around. Combined with my excellent communication skills and the creative designs I come up with for banners, I am certain that I can attract famous guest speakers and make engaging posters which will result in greater participation in Engineering Society events.

Further to this, my past experiences with marketing back in high school societies like the Toastmasters Club and the Model UN club have helped me gain the relevant skills I need for this role. Utilising the skills I have gathered through these experiences, I intend on working hard to keep our social media pages active and market all our events well.

To have a society full of exciting events, please vote me for Head of Marketing!

Cheers,

Diren

As a previous member of our university society's marketing team, I am confident that I have the skills and experience necessary to build on the successes of our previous marketing efforts and take our society's promotional initiatives to the next level.

I had the opportunity to work on several successful campaigns. I was responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies that increased attendance at our events and helped to raise awareness of our society. I am proud of the positive impact that our work had on the society, and I am excited to take on a leadership role to help us achieve even greater success.

I believe that my experience as a previous member of the marketing team gives me a unique advantage in this position. I am intimately familiar with the inner workings of our society and have a deep understanding of our goals and values. This will enable me to get started right away and start putting sensible marketing techniques into practise. I will work tirelessly to ensure that our campaigns are creative, innovative, and impactful.

Finally, I enjoy being a part of the engineering society because it provides opportunities for me to network with like-minded individuals, develop my technical and leadership skills, and engage in meaningful projects and activities. I am dedicated to leveraging my knowledge and experience to assist our society in achieving its objectives because I really believe that powerful marketing could bring about genuine change.
