Ciaran M Davies
Hi, I'm Ciaran, a first-year economics student.
Social events are designed to bring individuals together in an informal manner, where people can feel at ease and be entertained by what the event has to offer. I aim to provide socials for the EFS that are more activity-based, with the idea that new and existing members will be more inclined to interact with each other and essentially 'break the ice'. It is essential that students, in particular those hoping to break into the finance industry, are able to enjoy their down-time and not be totally bogged down by the pressures that their course and internship applications bring in order to preserve their mental health and wellbeing. Therefore, I will also strive to encourage those who are perhaps struggling with university life to take part in the socials and feel comfortable enough to open up about any problems they face.
