Election post
I am standing for the position of Vice President of Social Enterprise for Business Society because I am passionate about making a difference in society through the power of business. During my first year as an Executive, I have gained valuable experience and developed many skills that I believe make me a strong candidate for this position.
As the First Year Executive, I have honed my organizational skills by helping coordinate events and ensuring events ran smoothly. I have learned how to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and manage resources effectively. These skills will be particularly valuable in the role of Vice President, as I will be responsible for organising the IIC.
In addition to my organizational skills, I have also improved my communication skills during my first year as an Executive. I have had to communicate with including team members and members of the Business Society. Through these interactions, I have learned how to listen actively, express myself clearly and concisely, and adapt my communication style to suit different audiences.
Overall, I am excited about the opportunity to continue my involvement in the Business Society and contribute to its mission of promoting social enterprise. I believe that my skills in organization and communication will be instrumental in helping the Society achieve its goals, and I am committed to working tirelessly to make a positive impact in the community.
