Board Games Society: President

Hello, my name is Gurveer, your current first year rep, and I'm running for BGS president this year. While the president’s role will not be the easiest, I feel like I will be up for the job as I have experience running events and being on the committee as first year rep. Furthermore, as a second year I will still have the amount of free time necessary to perform my duties as president while having gained the discipline needed for the role from my first year at uni. 

•  I will keep the board game society growing as it has been for these past few years both in terms of members and our board game collection. 
•  I will also hold more regular events on the weekend, so we have events that are accessible to those who can't make weekday events such as many PHD students. 
•  I am very eager to work with other societies to bring everyone some more collaboration events which have been some of the most memorable events we had this year. 

Most importantly, I just want to give back to a community that was so welcoming during my first few weeks of university and even after that helped make my first year of uni one of the most enjoyable in my life so far. I will do my best to be as welcoming to new members as you all were to me and to keep this society as one the most fun at UCL.
