Hi, I'm Grace :) As a member of the Art Society for 3 years, I really love the club and would love to be involved in organising and improving events for everyone to enjoy. I've really appreciated how through Art Society I get to explore new media, express my creativity and meet new people with a similar passion for art!
I'm very organised, proactive and creative, so I hope to use these skills to help run our society by:
- A weekly updates email to all members notifying all of the upcoming week's activities, including the links and explanations for the events.
- An active Instagram account with signposting for point of contact and regular notifications on events, both with stories and posts.
- managing the Whatsapp account, quickly replying to any questions people may have!
UCL does not represent the creative arts as much as other academic disciplines, I feel that it is important to remind students that they do not have to sacrifice their hobbies, passions or interests for art. With the correct marketing, this message can be spread to all students at UCL.
As someone who has been an influencer for 5 years, I am familiar with creating engaging posts for promotions. I have experience under one of the UK's top agencies for influencing. Here I learnt tools to maximise engagement for any set briefs from social media to blog posts. Therefore, I believe that my knowledge for marketing and advertising will transfer easily into this role. I understand the importance of quick communication and organisation needed for this role, and see my ability to manage multiple projects at once to be effortless.
I believe that I can use innovate techniques to represent the range of advantages art has for all students at UCL, and through my experience, I know that I am a well organised candidate for this role.
Thank you for reading, Lumi :)
