I am very passionate about marketing and have therefore continued to seek out experiences that will help me to learn more about marketing and utilise the skills I have already developed. I am also the current Events Executive for this society, and have enjoyed being part of the committee. I would therefore love the chance to show my passion for marketing and become even more involved in the society by becoming the Events Officer for the next year!

Being the Events Executive means that I already have an understanding of how the society runs and what kind of events members find interesting and useful. I also have a wealth of experiences which will allow me to be an efficient and organised member of the society.

Some of my experiences include the following:

  • Volunteering as a marketing team member for a student-led start-up backed by UCL Innovation and Enterprise, involving planning pitches and scheduling activities. I am therefore able to work to strict deadlines and will succeed in scheduling events for the society.

  • Participating in the London Wildlife Trust's digital media and marketing training programme to complete a social media campaign with creative agency Open and a team of other young people. This shows that I am capable of planning and executing events, and collaborating with others.

I believe this will be an amazing opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the society in my last year at UCL, so I would be thankful if you could vote for me! :)

Hi! My name is Stephanie, and I’m an ISPS student. I’ve truly enjoyed all the events from AMPSOC this year, and I’m committed to ensuring its continued success. This year, I’m hoping to:

  1. Establish inter-club networking opportunities. By cultivating a community-oriented culture, I aim to establish valuable networking opportunities between members to further their career goals and insights within AMPSOC.
  2. Expand collaborations with other business societies. UCL is home to some fantastic societies. I hope to connect with other beneficial societies to bridge our interests and generate interactive and varied workshops!
  3. Host a greater diversity of speakers. Alongside our workshops and social events, I aim to connect AMPSOC with greater industry leaders, focusing on unconventional and creative careers to open up more perspectives. This will go in tandem with regular feedback forms on club platforms for members to indicate their interests, goals, and requests!

A bit about myself: I’m a well-organised, empathetic, and passionate leader interested in driving diverse voices. I’ve had the opportunity to be a marketing intern for an NGO aiming to alleviate malnutrition in North Korea, coordinate career webinars for low-income Model UN students in Canada, and network with local London charities as Project Lead of Outreach for Cultured Minds here at UCL. With these experiences, I aim to hone in on my skills to foster another excellent year of reputable AMPSOC events! Thank you :-)
