Welsh Society: Welfare Officer

Hey! I am Danilo and I would love to be your welfare officer! I have been part of the amazing Welsh Society committee as the Welfare Assistant and I have loved it, and this has given me the appropriate skills for the role. I am a very caring person and as your welfare officer, I will also here for all members and regularly check in and give resources and support to all members, and ensure that any problems are addressed and that feedback is collected regularly to make the society the very best it can be. I will be there for all members as much as I can and do anything to help with any issues at all. I have been on the committee of several societies at UCL and this has given me the experience suitable to be on the committee next year, as well as many connections for potential collabs! Next year, I hope to help organise many fun events - such as Welsh clubnights, collabs, food tastings, outings, speed-friendings, picnics and many more - and I would also loved to organise a trip to Wales as well! I will also connect with Welsh unis and other Welsh societies in London to create more connections for our members (and awesome events!), and I will help with the language lessons - I am very passionate about the teaching and learning of Welsh in order to keep the language alive! I will ensure that the society is the very best it can be and that all members are happy and comfortable in the society.
