Q Lin

I strongly believe that my contribution to Thai society as a vice president/welfare officer will help maintain the dynamics in the committee and the members. From my past experience, I have been working closely and supporting my community as the deputy and I have these qualities to make a well-rounded VP such as leadership, responsibility. I am open-minded to new ideas and more importantly, my approachable manners and friendly personality would give each member of the society a sense of a safe working environment. Moreover, I am capable of being both a team leader and team player and so I am able to take on any responsibility if the president is not present and I am also able to assist the president at all times.

Jadon Leong

My vision and goal for Thai society next year is to create a vibrant and eventful year that will be very memorable and unforgettable throughout our lives. Through the role of president/welfare officer, I believe I will be able to lead the committee into making this happen. Previous numerous leadership experiences such as House captain, Senior prefect, and Head of the Sixth Form committee in my high school years, has led me to become a very mature leader with the essential skills and knowledge required to run the society. In my university years, I have also taken small roles such as leading training sessions for the Thai soc and being the next point in contact captain with UCL’s basketball team, as well as leading numerous engineering projects. One personal trait I stand out as an individual is my initiative and passion, It is my natural self that has always strived to create an inclusive community that everyone loves to be in, proven by numerous initiatives I have taken. These are initiatives are such as organising the Harrow reunion in the UK, adding board games to the sixth form, organising Harrow Christmas dinner/Prom/Charity visits and events, as well as being the creator of the harrow graduation page on Instagram etc. With numerous plans I have in mind for the Thai soc ahead of the academic year, I hope to bring a big, long term positive impact on Thai society which I can execute.
