Hi Im Robi and here is why I should be head coach of R&D :
What is R&D? R&D is Recreational and Development, so Ill be organising hitting sessions every Wednesday afternoon for players of all levels. Its a chill space where you work on your technique whilst meeting other tennis lovers and having fun (cheesy but genuinely true).
Why me and why R&D? I've helped coach the R&D sessions multiple times, so I have a true understanding of what it takes to organise and manage the sessions.
Why should I be head coach? Im a certified LTA (Lawn Tennis Association) coach and have been training players from all backgrounds for years, so I have deep knowledge of what you are doing wrong and how we can fix it.
Experience competing? I've competed nationally in both England and Argentina since the age of 10, and am currently a UCL BUCS player, so safe to say I know how to play tennis ;) This means I can guide you if you want to start competing but don't know where to begin.
Future Plans for R&D? Ill be splitting the sessions into 2 sections, on one side for chill hitting sessions with your mates. But if you want a more competitive side ill be setting up voluntary competitions for all experience levels, with our own UCL Grand Slam tournament in the summer.
In conclusion, I have experience, and Im genuinely in love with my sport, so help me help you improve your tennis by choosing me as R&D head coach.
