Tennis Club: BUCS Men's 3 Captain

I am a current M3 player and have been playing with the team since my first year (currently a second year). I am also an LTA level 2 coach and have played tennis since I was 5.

I am running for M3 captain as I want to keep our record at the top of the league in the upcoming year. I would like to arrange some outside coaching for the team, as well as to structure some drills and games myself during our weekly practice sessions. 

As captain, I want to run more team social events and try to get the whole team there! It would be great to have team events, such as team dinners, poker nights and hopefully even trips to see pro sporting events - I would love to get tickets to see some of the pros play.

I am also keen to organise more friendly matches against other universities and with the other BUCS/LUSL teams to get everyone involved.

I feel that I am good at organising and leading, which will let me arrange for example practice matches for the team and socials to get to know each other better. Also, I believe that I have consistently shown up to training and socials this year showing my commitment to the team and can continue to do this next year, trying to get more people from the team involved as well. As you know I will of course be a fun captain who will have a positive impact on this team by giving my full effort.
