TEDx Society: Director - People and Operations

Hello everyone! To introduce myself, I’m Ananya and am currently in my penultimate year of the BSc Management Science course. I am running for the role of Director of People and Operations!

Given my past engagement with TED as the production manager in my alma mater and the events team at TEDx UCL, it’s safe to say that I’m passionate about the organisation and the value they deliver! If elected, I am committed to building a strong team to continue the legacy of UCL TEDx conferences. Furthermore, I thoroughly enjoy working behind the scenes to make events possible. I believe that I have picked up some expertise running back-end operations through my prior roles as the UCL TEDx Event Executive and the city lead of a NPO, Chattr Chhaya. These experiences helped me hone my communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills that are directly transferable to the People and Operations role.
