Technology Society: Workshop Director

During my time as the workshop executive, I was able to see how crucial workshops were for people to learn more skills outside their current discipline. Being one of the attendees myself, I was truly inspired and personally learned much valuable information outside of my current degree. I want to continue providing this experience for everyone by hosting more engaging and interesting workshops that will pique the interest of society members! If elected I will:           

1. Host weekly workshops that will benefit anyone who is interested in Tech.

2. Invite cooperate professionals to host unique workshop topics that will provide insight to members.

3. Ensure everyone is engaged during the workshops and walk back with new knowledge.

I believe the skills I’ve obtained during my tenure as workshop executive will benefit the society in terms of efficiency of workshop planning and ensure that the workshops run smoothly. Hence, I want to carry on with my role as the workshop director and further plan engaging and fun workshops for TechSoc members to enjoy!
