Christian P N Langridge

I am standing for Men's Captain as I believe I have an excitement and passion for the sport that can help motivate others.Taekwondo has been a regular part of my life for the past 15 years and I continue to enjoy my weekly training as I push myself. When I see other prominent figures in the club, I try to model myself after them and take on responsibilities for the club (washing the body guards, carrying kit, cleaning up). I have an enthusiastic and intense perspective on training and the way I promote the club and my teammates, so I think I will be a unique asset next year.

Marian Rachev

I would like to nominate myself for the captain's position because I strongly believe that I can contribute to the excellent performance of the team in competitions. I have trained taekwondo for more than 15 years, I am currently the Bulgarian national champion for Seniors +87 class A and I have more than 50 medals from national and international competitions. Therefore my plan for the next year is to use the experience I have gained throughout the years to help with the training process and assist in coaching at competitions making sure every fighter in the club achieves the result they want. Moreover, this year I worked on the application for the High-Performance program together with the female captain Caitlin. It turned out to be successful and 10 members of the club gained access to strength and conditioning sessions and physiotherapy. One of my goals would be to get the team accepted to this program once again next year.
