Jun Ting Goo

Hi I am Jun.

I am nominating for Table Tennis Club Welfare Officer as I believe it is the role that suits my personality the most, and of which a role that I have never taken before. I enjoy playing table tennis ever since I was young and I really love taking care for others. Therefore, I am convinced that I can perform well as a welfare officer and doing my best contributing to the club. Besides, I am eager to learn new knowledge, and to meet new friends, and I cannot think of a better way to achieve these than being part of the committee.

I think one activity that we can add to our weekly sessions is to organise an interclub round robin that is compulsory for all attending club members, possibly at the last 30 minutes of every session. In this way, we all will have more chance to play with everyone, and I think this might make the club more interactive and fun.

That is all from me. Thank you so much and I hope you have a nice day!

Hi, I'm Chun - a Third year student taking Medical Sciences & a member of UCL's second team. I'm excited to run for Welfare Officer since I'm passionate about ensuring everyone is enjoying all aspects of the club. Having stood as Welfare Officer and Social Secretary for table tennis in 2021/22, I believe I am in a good position to represent and support our members, all whilst hosting fun events to keep things lively!

My priorities would be to provide support and advice for members by hosting informal open sessions. Having organised my schools table tennis training club during my time there, I hope that my previous experience can contribute to providing a great experience for all the members!

Please feel free to email me if you have any questions or if you just want to chat about table tennis!
