Surf Club: Media Secretary

Hi! I'm Dan, I’m from the UK (exotic I know) and I’m a Second Year studying Comparative Literature.

 I’m running for Media Secretary next year because as someone that found the society through social media, I think our online presence is very important to show what this great society has to offer and I think there’s a lot more we can do. 

Just some ideas I have to further the amazing work that this year’s committee has done:

• Produce a video for each trip (and some of the socials). I think it’s a really great way to advertise just how good the trips and socials are.
• Designing more cool merch (hats, hoodies, posters and room decals)- getting some of the fashionable and arty people in the soc involved (I know you’re out there).
• Create a collaborative Spotify playlist (enhanced vibes).
• Photography competitions (the number of film cameras I saw on the Lanzarote trip was mind-boggling)
