Sikh Society: Volunteering Officer

Seva is a huge part of sikhism as It demonstrates the belief in equality and the importance of all people, which is why I believe it should be a huge part of the events that we carry out as a society. Having played an active role in the current Seva events at UCL, I already have a defined interest in the area. I have tonnes of volunteering experience outside of university that gives me enough knowledge to fuel a variety of Seva events that would allow the members of our society to individually grow whilst have a direct and meaningful impact on the community around us. Having said this I believe I'd be a great candidate for this role.
