Shaolin Kung Fu Club: Welfare Officer

Hey,

I've really enjoyed the kung fu classes. I think martial arts are an interesting mix of philosophy and self defense and that's something I'd like to support and learn more about. I'm going to apply for this and social secretary because they seem similar haha. Are these statments public? I hope not.

I am a regular member of the society and feel I am an approachable person. I would do my best to address any concerns of any of the members of the society and I would also do my best to help to create a friendly and inclusive environment both at training sessions and social events. In recent years I have had a lot of experience in coaching young children up to 18 year olds in gymnastics, during that time I have dealt with several welfare issues. I believe what I learned from these experiences will be transferrable to this role.
