Sexpression Society: Welfare Officer

Hey everyone! I would love to be the Welfare Officer for the Sexpressions Society again :) I have loved being part of the committee this year and I hope that next year I will continue to do so. I will continue to ensure that all members feel comfortable to come to me with anyone - I am and will be there for everyone and will be there to help with any issues, however big or small, whether related to the society or not. I also want to create some more welfare resources next year for our members, so that they feel even more supported at UCL. I am currently on the committee of 39 societies and so I have a lot of experience with working in committees for societies, and I will have a lot of connections for us to collab with next year! I am also extremely passionate about sexual health and want to help in the mission to stop HIV transmission, so that is something that I am hoping to work on in the society next year. Additionally, I want to help continue to highlight the issue of LGBT+ education in sex education (I am also on the committee of the LGBT+ network, making it easier to share connections). Additionally, as part of the DSN and Autism Society committee, I also want to highlight the issues regarding disabled and autistic people with sex education e.g. making sex education accessible to those who have learning difficulties.
