Micah Gerstner
You met me this year in all my chaos as the RPG officer, and I'd like to continue to coordinate RPGs for you! My name is Micah and my pronouns are he/they. I've been running RPGs for nearly 7 years now, having dabbled in DnD 3.5e and 5e, as well as non-DnD systems such as Mausritter, Blades in the Dark, Fiasco, and Starfinder. This year I revamped the process for finding players on the discord server, as well as refined the RPG day ticketing process and learned a lot about the workings of the society. I also collaborated with the other committee members to work on events such as the Pub Quiz, Yule Ball, and a Stardew Valley Game Night. On top of that, I think I'm a pretty cool guy and get along with a lot of people in the society!
My goals for the next year include:
- Developing the RPG library (we have a few books but not enough!) and acquiring more minis & battlemaps for society use!
- Work with the events officer to offer more murder mysteries
- Offer GM workshops to help GMs build their existing skill sets & help new GMs learn important skills
- Encourage the learning of RPG systems outside of DnD
