Sci-Fi and Fantasy Society: Communications Officer

Hey, i'm Elspeth and I am the current web officer. I am running again for committee so I can continue to contribute to the smooth running of the society. I have made so many amazing friends and memories through SFFS during my first year and look forward to making many more. During my past term as web officer I have been in charge of the society social media. During this time I started the moderately unhinged SFFS tiktok account bringing classics such as the costco tiktok and the iconic shower merch promo. I have plenty more tiktok ideas for future events and am excited to continue embarassing myself on the internet for the sake of the society.

I also more recently designed the escape room for the society, that went mostly to plan. Anyone who took part can certify that it provided an insight into my slightly manic mind. (especially considering I essentially mapped it all out in one night). Each team had a series of insane puzzles to solve in 60 minutes. I will be running more escape rooms in the future. 

I am present at almost all society events and have an understanding of how each event operates. This means that I can correctly publicise the events so as many people as possible can get involved in the society. In the past couple months I have learned how to use photoshop, run a discord server and organise events. And I would love to continue to learn more new skills by being your communications officer.
