Deniz A Isingor

Having been Social Secretary for RAX for the past year I have created deep meaningful connections with so many members of my team. As such, I feel a strong duty of care for them, and look forward to extending this to any newcomers that will be joining us! My priority is to make everyone feel comfortable within the society and I will do so by holding bi-weekly Welfare Drop-In sessions. I really hope you can confide your trust in me for the upcoming year and vote me as your Welfare Officer!

Conor Walsh

Hello! I'm Conor and I'm currently studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE).

Running has always been a passion of mine and, while I'm certainly not the fastest, I find running truly liberating. I've really enjoyed my time at RAX so far, and would love to get more involved in the society and the committee.

Exercise, in my experience, is an amazing way to support your mental health and wellbeing; and I'm standing for Welfare Officer because I want to support the mental wellbeing of you and all the other wonderful members of RAX. My experience as a student leader in my high school and completion of the Diana Award has given me fantastic training in mental health, and exposed me to a variety of situations. Working part-time as a maths tutor, I also understand the complexities of studying and have developed a variety of techniques which I use with my students during exam season to relieve their stress levels.

I hope that my experiences will make me an ideal candidate for Welfare Officer! If you have any questions or would simply like to get to know be a bit better then please do reach out to me on socials, or catch me on the social runs... I normally pop along for the Monday ones :)
