Marie Ndongue / Imogen Dawe-Lane

Hi, I am a French student who enters her final year at ESPS! My favourite events are the 400m and the 200m, but I basically love everything about athletics. You’ll normally see me train with Highgate on Tuesdays, Thursdays (yes, even after Wednesday nights at Scala…) and Saturdays, and I sometimes compete in cross country, even though we can all agree that an hilly 5k in the mud is the worst thing ever ;)

Hey, my name is Imogen Dawe-Lane and athletics has been a big part of my life for an unbelievably long time. I have been lucky enough to compete at a national level and place in the top 10 in the UK for my event. I really enjoy training and competing with the UCL team. Everyone on the team has been a great inspiration especially throughout dreaded 300m sessions.

If we decided to run for Athletics co-captains, it is because we definitely think that the ‘A’ in RAX should have all its place! It doesn’t matter if you’re an elite athlete who wants to PB or a beginner who simply wants to improve and have fun, all levels are welcome on a track. It would be brilliant if next year we were able to form a women's relay team and encourage some more female athletes to join the group. I would also be great to explore even more team training opportunities to prepare for another incredible season competing, as well as making sure everyone has a great time with all the opportunities UCL Athletics already has to offer.

Brook Li

Hi, I am Brook Li from Year 2 Pharmacology, I started athlete training since primary school and now to university. I won the title of national athlete at the end of high school career with time sub-7 second for 60m, sub 11 for 100m, sub 23 for 200m.The most important reason I like track and field is because it can enhance perseverance, refreshing PB and challenging through yourself is the most exciting place in track and field I prefer to train with more people and share experience about track and field, the strength of a team depends on strong leadership.
