Rugby Club (Men's): Charity Secretary

Dear UCL Men's Rugby,

I am writing to apply for this role as a Charity Secretary for the UCL Men's Rugby Team because I believe the opportunity will give me the avenue to raise the already exceptional calibre of our team both on and off the field. I also want to apply for this role as simultaneously through registering my interest for this role I have applied to become the OddBalls Ambassador for UCL, as this will yet again allow me to explore how I personally, and at the forefront of the club, can raise awareness for and stress the importance of cancer, namely testicular, in young men (ourselves). However, I do not believe it stops there. In my opinion, I believe the club could do more, especially for example regarding the situation in Ukraine, and I trust that I will, if successful in my application, provide this. This opportunity would be an invaluable experience to help me connect with more people and develop my communication/ charitable skills, not only this, but it would also allow me to steer the way for the club to give back to the community and people we live with today to make the world a better place.
