Janice Wong

I’m Janice, a first-year pharmacy student. After having participated in various PASS events this year, I realised that I deeply resonate with the values of UCL PASS. I wish to contribute towards raising awareness for sociopolitical & environmental issues worldwide and continue serving the society by running for secretary.

My past experiences have equipped me with soft skills such as communication, organisational & collaboration skills that are essential for being secretary. As part of the UCL PharmAlliance team, I had the opportunity to interview a senior pharmacist working in UK health security, which has equipped me with communication skills that are essential for ensuring effective communication between the executive committee and society members. By being a house official in my high school, I also gained more experience in collaborating with others in a team, as well as leadership skills and organisational skills, from leading our cheerleaders during the school's athletics meet. With these skills in hand, I am confident that I have the capability to take up the post of secretary in UCL PASS, in the role of managing internal administration & human resources as well as fostering effective communication within the society.

Should I be successfully elected, I guarantee that I would fully devote myself to UCL PASS, and I would really look forward to serving UCL PASS as the secretary next year. Thank you for your time!
