Publications have the ability to shape our perception of a society like PASS. The design elements that we use in posts, trailers and websites establish viewers’ first impression of us as a whole – this is my key takeaway from graphic design experiences inside and outside PASS. Not only have I learnt to convey information effectively to the wider audience, I started to recognise the importance of consistency as to how we convey such information, as it truly consolidates the image of our society. PASS is the place where I could apply such principles, for a group of audience whom I truly care, and to contribute further to the information flow of socio-political affairs, thus I am running for the Publications and Promotions Officer.

As the proposed Publications and Promotions Officer, my vision is to:

  • increase the reach of PASS to Hong Kong and UCL students
  • widen the exposure of our department to subcommittee members
  • strengthen our cooperation with the other departments
